1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using ShieldHerPro, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
ShieldHerPro provides three digital safety tools for independent professional women: SafeMeet (check-in timer with trusted contact alerts), SafeWords (pre-written panic message system), and ReviewShield (fake review response generator). The service is provided as a web application accessible via any browser.
3. Critical Safety Disclaimer
ShieldHerPro is an assistive safety tool only. It is not a substitute for emergency services, professional security advice, or personal safety training. In any emergency situation, always contact your local emergency services (112 in the EU) first. ShieldHerPro does not guarantee your personal safety and cannot be held responsible for outcomes in any situation. The effectiveness of SafeMeet alerts depends on your device remaining powered on and connected to the internet. The effectiveness of SafeWords depends on your trusted contacts receiving and acting on messages. We strongly recommend informing your trusted contacts about ShieldHerPro and testing all features before relying on them in real situations.
4. Subscription and Payment
- ShieldHer Pro is billed at 19€ per month
- Payment is processed by Stripe
- There is no free trial period
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — access continues until that date
- No refunds are issued for partial months or unused periods
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
5. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with other users. You must provide accurate information during registration. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions, reverse engineer or copy any part of the service, use the service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or use automated tools to access the service.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and functionality of ShieldHerPro is owned by Gill's Digital Studio and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.
8. Service Availability
We aim to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary unavailability. We will communicate planned downtime where possible.
9. Limitation of Liability
ShieldHerPro is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding any claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or any safety situation in which the service was used or relied upon.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service in any way. You will be notified by email in such cases.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify existing users by email of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic.
